Poster

Part of our project was to create a poster to promote our film. I looked at many traditional and neo noir posters as inspiration.




















I decided to go with the painted type look with a collage of different characters on. I used some screenshot from the trailer and some other images to create the poster. I used a mixture of word, photoshop and paint to create the poster, including the painted look of the characters.

Feedback - we stuck up a few copies of the poster around our college with some questionnaires asking what they liked and what could be improved upon. The feedback was very positive with just a few suggestions for improvement. Including suggestions for adding some credits to the bottom and a BBFC rating. We have added these features to the poster.

I looked for a replacement for the towers as these are American and our film is set in the UK. However I could not find a image that suited the poster well enough.

Here we have added a London landscape to the front of the city. We did this as we wanted people to know the setting yet we could not find a london landscape image that looked good enough on its own so we combined two together.
