Here is a good example of a magazine cover and although it is not in our genre it is still a very good example of a cover. It shows the protagonist being very dominant and important like our own is.

The title is very dominant in order to brand the magazine and make brand loyalty possible. however the main image does cover some of the magazine, however, due to the brand being well known this is still recognisable to the target audience.

This informs the audience of what the film is called that appears on the front cover, while many of this magazines are likely to be able to recognise this without having to read the title, this allows other people to take part in this magazine and become potential buyers, additionally this may tempted people who currently aren't interested in the film to be more interested in it and make them possibly want to go and see it

This is to appeal to fans of this actor, if there is an article about the actor, this will tempted the audience to buy the magazine as a result, this also helps to brand the film as the audience who are a fan of his will want to watch the film as a result.
